9-Month-Old Feeding Routine: Finding a Rhythm with Milk and Solids
By 9 months, many babies are settling into a more predictable rhythm.
A common pattern might look like:
• Morning milk feed
• Breakfast - Oats Apple Chia Porridge Puree
• Midday milk feed
• Lunch - Poached Chicken Medley Puree with a side of Apple Sweet Potato Fritter
• Afternoon milk feed
• Dinner - Lamb Roast Puree with a side of fresh avocado spears
• Evening milk feed
Some babies still prefer milk before solids. Others do well with solids first. There’s flexibility here.
Three meals a day is typical now, with milk still playing an important nutritional role.
You might notice appetite varies - bigger breakfast, lighter dinner, or vice versa. That’s normal.
Consistency in timing helps build hunger cues and mealtime familiarity. But perfection isn’t required.
Responsive feeding within a gentle routine creates both structure and trust 💛
