Our Head of Marketing’s Favourite Postpartum Apps, and Why

Jen, Head of Marketing & Brand at Le Puree

This one’s for all the new mums out there. I had my first baby, Cece, just 15 weeks ago, and as someone who works in the baby industry, I love anything that makes mums life easier - which definitely includes apps. I’m a “less is more” kind of gal, if I’m not using it weekly, it’s not staying on my phone. Here are my absolute favourites so far:

KIC

I love this app! I use it daily to squeeze in some movement before or after work. I was an avid runner and Pilates girl before pregnancy and really missed that postpartum. Around 8 weeks postpartum, after getting the all clear, I started back with KIC and fell in love.

Now I’m working out with Kic and with Cece watching me… she giggles every time I lift the black Pilates ball (the black weights are also great because babies can track and follow them like a game!). I’ve just started the run program to get some kms back in. I’m being kind to myself and embracing my new norm: not 10kms a day, but maybe 2–3kms followed by a walk with bub.

This app is so great for movement when you can't commit to a set time or class. The instructors are amazing as well.

Okay, this app is AMAZING. I got Cece the Charmer Play Kit and she absolutely loves it. The app helps me follow along with her development and gives me ways to play with her that are fun and beneficial for her age. Total win-win.

I also love that the products are made from natural materials and don’t totally throw off the feng shui of my living room. 😂

Peanut

Shout out to this app, and their new president, Aussie Michelle Battersby! Such a cool concept. I use Peanut daily for new-mum info and connecting with local mums. I’m originally from Texas, so building a new circle of mum friends is a must in this season of life.

Solid Starts

Cece is showing all the signs that she’ll be ready for solids earlier than expected, so I’ve been diving into this app. I’m lucky to have a dietitian on speed dial (shout out Le Puree Dietitan, Jess!), but Solid Starts is such a helpful way to show my husband and nanny how to safely prep food. It’s also packed with ideas for easy, nutrient-dense finger foods we always have on hand, like bananas and avocados.

✨ Those are my top picks so far. They’ve made postpartum life more fun, more supported, and way less overwhelming. DM us on socials if you have any that I should try!
